The Bloom BMX is hosting the first-ever photo contest for women photographers. Our initiative is to inspire new creatives and address the gender imbalance in action sports media where women currently make up only a small fraction of the population. Our goal is to promote greater visibility for women and empowering them to thrive in photography.
TO ENTER
- Post a photo on Instagram with the tag #BloomBMXPhoto in the caption.
- The theme is “Women’s BMX”. It can be a riding photo or a lifestyle photo, it’s up to you to interpret!
- Include a description of your photo in the caption

Contest is open now, last day to submit: Friday October 25th 11:59 PM EST. Winners will be announced shortly after.

- A $300 USD grant from Sony Alpha Female

- Do I need to shoot with a Sony camera? No! We want to encourage the next generation of women behind the lens, shoot with whatever you have!
- Who is the contest open to? Contest is open internationally, Women of all ages, including Women Identifying and non binary photographers.
- How do I know you if you saw my photo? Photos will be liked and saved when seen. Please make sure your profile is public!
