It’s hard to miss Rena’s riding if you follow BMX at all – her style, her Candy Bars! We noticed for a while that she would tag us when she wore Fit shirts but we thought she already had a bike sponsor. Both Van Homan and Stew Johnson asked me if we sponsored her because I was sharing her clips to the Fit instagram when she tagged us and they both think she is incredible… and it made me think – I should really just ask her if she would like to ride for Fitbikeco because we would obviously love her on the team. So I DMed her and her mom on IG and they said they would love to ride for Fit!
The FIT SHORTCUT FRAME V2 has a very short chainstay of 12.4 inches and weighs 4.72 lb (2.14 kg). It has good response and is perfect for small riders like Rena. Rena’s impressions thus far:
It’s easy to move the front up, so I can move quickly and make small movements easily. It’s easy to do bar spins, and it’s easy to do foot-off tricks! I think it’s a perfect frame for little girls or those switching from an 18-inch frame. I want to ride it a lot and get used to it. And I want to learn more tricks 💕
