Red Bull Press Release Manchester, UK – 12th April 2025 – BMX Stars Kieran Reilly and Hannah Roberts have been crowned Red Bull Featured Champions on a historic night at Manchester Central as a packed crowd of more than 2,000 fans witnessed 11 world-first tricks.
Olympic hero Kieran Reilly landed two world-firsts and Hannah Roberts landed one, on their way to picking up the male and female titles against a stacked field of some of the best riders in the world as fans flocked from far and wide to witness BMX freestyle history.

On winning, Kieran Reilly said, “I’ve been so excited for this event as soon as it was announced. I was buzzing to get out there. It’s a different type of pressure from other events as you’re aiming to give the crowd something they’ve never seen before. I was hurting a lot before my last attempt but I just gritted my teeth and went for something I thought could win me the title. I’m so glad it came off and to win is the best feeling”.
On winning the female category, Hannah Roberts said “I’m absolutely pumped to win this competition. I’ve trained so hard and really wanted to give the fans something special. It’s been one of the coolest events as it gives us the opportunity to try all these tricks without the risk of hurting our scores. The event was absolutely mindblowing”.

Other history-making riders from the night include Olympic gold-medalist Logan Martin and Olympic bronze medalist Natalya Diehm who both also landed tricks never seen in competition before. Costa Rica’s Kenneth Tencio, homegrown hero Jude Jones, Switzerland’s Nikita Ducarroz and USA Olympian, Nick Bruce also achieved the same accolade.

The night started on the High Air feature where Hannah Roberts and Logan Martin put themselves in pole position before the riders turned their attention to the Sub Box where the young American rider, Roberts, extended her lead at the top before crowd-favourite Kieran Reilly stamped his mark on the men’s competition with the win.
The Quarter Pipe, and the night’s third feature, was where the competition really exploded into life as both the men and women landed the evening’s initial world-firsts before a crazy ending in the men’s second heat where three world-firsts were landed in a wild 4 minutes and 13 seconds.
The final feature, the Box Jump, took place in-front of the specially designed ‘wall’ viewing platform where fans witnessed a further four historic world-firsts as records continued to tumble at the world’s most progressive BMX event.

The night went down to the wire as multiple riders were in contention to win the competition going into the final feature but ultimately, Reilly and Roberts managed to hold their nerve and secure the win in Manchester, with Reilly landing his final jump to secure the points with a world-first.
Red Bull Featured was a chance for riders to challenge themselves and push the limits of what’s possible on a BMX, with no repercussions for falling. The new format, created by BMX legend and Red Bull athlete, Sebastian Keep, gave riders a new-found freedom on the course, entertaining the audience across the four feature format.
