About the Book: The Birth of the BMX Freestyle Movement

The highly anticipated 560-page Global Edition of The Birth of the BMX Freestyle Movement takes a comprehensive dive into the origins of BMX Freestyle and its unique culture. Featuring stories from 130 contributors across 15 chapters, the book chronicles:

    • Reportage: A deep dive into the archives and stories of the FREESTYLIN’ Magazine crew.
    • A Force of Nature: A 90-page exploration of British BMX culture in the early 1980s, featuring rare images from BMX Action Bike and R.A.D. Magazine, alongside accounts from British legends such as Andy Ruffel, Nick Philip, Jess Dyrenforth, Craig Campbell, and James Hudson.
