Sweetlines is looking for experienced racers, riders, and coaches to guide the next generation of gravity racers as 2025 Race Team Coaches, with hiring starting this January! Known for empowering riders through events like the Sugar Showdown, trail restoration, and inspiring films like The Sisterhood of Shred, Sweetlines blends coaching, community, and fun. Overview
- Sweetlines DH Race Teams meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays starting in February and go through the race season. Race coaches will help train teams to work on skills, mental prep, goal setting, and racing techniques. Prior racing experience is highly preferred. Race teams practice meets at various locations including Duthie, Tokul, and Exit 27.Â
- Pay will be $30 per hour with 2.5 hours paid for 2 hour sessions and 3.5 hours paid for 3 hour sessions.
- Coaches will be assigned a Cat 1, 2, or 3 group and are expected to commit to working their preferred day each week throughout the season (1 or 2 days/week). Attending races is encouraged but never required.
- Mandatory Race Coach training will be held on February 2, 2025.
- Sweetlines prides ourselves on high quality customized curriculum in our programs. Once hired, we offer paid training for all our coaches at a subsidized daily rate rather than hourly wages. This allows us to provide coaches with many skills that are taught in expensive certification courses at no cost! We encourage our coaches to take advantage of all levels of Sweetlines coach trainings available.
