We’re heartbroken to hear that the GT team is being let go. The people behind GT, did a tremendous amount to support the core BMX scene and women’s BMX, we are speechless but what we can do is say thank you.
Our relationship with GT started back in 2022, and from day one, they felt like family. Every idea we pitched—no matter how big or small—was met with enthusiasm and trust. They didn’t just listen; they got excited. One of the things we were working on with them was a custom bike and another Bloom x GT trip in 2025, and while it’s heartbreaking that those plans won’t come to life, we’re so grateful for the projects that we did get to collaborate on.
What made GT special were the people behind this huge company. We want to give a huge shoutout to the OGs who made it all happen:
- Mike Marro
- Ben Ward
- Rachelle Boobar
- Brendan Mulrooney
- And last but definitely not least, Jeff Zielinski
These legends poured their hearts into every project, whether it was supporting grassroots events, pushing women’s BMX to new heights, or just being rad humans. GT wasn’t just a brand; it was a vibe, and it was because of them.
To everyone at GT, thank you for the Good Times – truly. We’re holding onto hope one day, GT will make its comeback. Until then, the legacy lives on.
