The 2024 Urban Cycling World Championships in Abu Dhabi, UAE, delivered thrilling performances and historic victories in both the Elite Women Freestyle and Flatland categories. In the Elite Women Freestyle event, the competition was intense as Team China showcased an impressive lineup of new talent. Nearly sweeping the podium, the Chinese riders demonstrated their growing dominance in the sport. However, it was Hannah Roberts from the USA who ultimately stole the show, securing her sixth world championship title with a spectacular performance. In the Women’s Flatland event, 16-year-old Ayuna Miyashina from Japan claimed her first world championship title with a score of 73.67.
