Event Recap

Hurstbridge competition winner Kiah Sullivan – credit Ashlea Sullivan

Kiah Sullivan entered into her first BMX comp in Hurstbridge Melbourne VIC and put together two fantastic runs to take home the win! With only a couple of girls riding in Victoria AUS it’s no easy feat to ride in a male-dominated competition. So props to Kiah, we are stoked for her

Rider Spotlight

Imagine being in your early 40’s and deciding to take up freestyle BMX. It’s not something you hear of every day or at all but that’s exactly what Sophi Carson has done.

Her determination and drive to keep progressing is truly inspiring. She posts at least one or two clips a week of her riding so she’s out there grinding for most of her weekends and it shows. Go check out her instagram and even chuck her a follow. @sophi_rides_rides

Reminders

Pete from The Bluegroove BMX and I are trying to set up regular girls group lessons. The girls really enjoy his classes as he teaches a lot of fundamentals of riding. Josh Khoury (@JKCoaching) is back after spending a month overseas for The Olympics and travel. His weekly women’s are back on!

Until next month keep shredding ladies!
