The Bloom BMX travelled across the country to attend the USA BMX FINALS at Woodward West, October 2023. Just coming from her Simple Session win, Kentucky’s Bethany Hedrick took home two, first-place wins on both Friday and Saturday’s C1 competition. Canada’s Beatrice Trang entered her first C1 competition after being peer pressured into entering by both Bethany Hedrick and Huntington Beach’s Jesse Gregory. Beatrice came home with a well-deserved 2nd place win behind Bethany.
In the 11 and Under class, Sonny Moreno’s hard work this season earned her not only first place at finals but also the 11 and Under National Championship title. The competition was intense between Lilly Voss and Keir Sirlin, with the ladies finishing in a tie for the 12 and Over National Championship. Still, with Keir’s win during finals, the tie was broken, making her the 2023 National Champion for 12 and Over.
