Qualification System for BMX Freestyle
- Total riders to the Olympics: 12 (11 + 1 spot allocated to the host country)
- Maximum number of athletes per nation: 2
- Minimum age: 15 by 2024
- Qualification Timeline
- November 1 2022 – June 2 2024 – BMX Freestyle Park Olympic Qualifying Period
- November 9-13 2022 – 2022 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships Abu Dhabi, UAE
- August 3-13 2023 – 2023 UCI Cycling Championships Glasgow, Scotland
- March – June 2024 – Olympic Qualifier Series
- June 7 2024 – The UCI Confirms in writing to the NOCs the quota places obtained
- June 21 2024 – The NOCs to confirm to the UCI the use of the allocated quota places
- June 26 2024 – UCI to reallocate all unused quota places
- TBC – The Tripartite Commission to confirm in writing the allocation of Universality places to the NOCs (where applicable)
- June 30 2024 – UCI to reallocate any unused quota places
- July 8 2024 – Paris 2024 entries deadline
- July 26 – August 11 2024 – Paris 2024 Olympics
Qualification System for BMX Racing
- Total riders to the Olympics: 24 (22 + 1 spot allocated to the host country + 1 universality place)
- Maximum number of athletes per nation: 3
- Minimum age: 18 by 2024

- August 1 2022 – June 2 2024 – BMX Racing Olympic Qualifying Period
- August 3-13 2023 – 2023 UCI Cycling Championships Glasgow, Scotland
- October 1 2023 – Universality place invitations sent
- June 4 2024 – UCI BMX Racing Olympic Qualification ranking and UCI BMX racing elite indivudal ranking are published
- June 11 2024 – UCI to inform NOCs / NFs of their allocated quota places
- June 25 2024 – NOCs to confirm use of allocated quota places to UCI
- June 26 2024 – UCI to reallocate all unused quota places
- July 8 2024 – Paris 2024 entries deadline
- July 26 – August 11 2024 – Paris 2024 Olympics
