The Bloom BMX was in Richmond, Virginia for Round 2 of Rumble in Richmond and for the first (and hopefully annual) Bloom Jam at Gillies Creek Park! We kicked the fellas out for about an hour for the ladies to shine and saw young, eager and little lady shredders take on the dirt.
Corey Walsh from Fast and Loose brought on the music, Steve Crandall brought on his MC skills, and Perris Benegas brought on her star power and got the lady train going. Thanks to the support of RADshare and Woodward Camp, we were able to give away two brand new bikes and a week to Woodward Camp to two deserving young ladies.
There was a lot of love from the BMX community that weekend, a lot of stoke, radness, and fun, which is what RADshare is all about. You can help RADshare share the rad by getting kids on bikes and helmets on heads by donating today. https://radshare.org/donate/

The Flat Am Pro was an exciting time for women’s BMX as well, with Richmond BMX offering equal pay for the first time! Allie Wolfe who retired from racing three years ago finished third, after Haylee Brown and Olivia Armstrong for first.
