“Located one mile away from the park in the heart of Pittsburgh’s growing restaurant scene. A great place to stay with the family. Stay for just $99.00 and includes free parking!”

“Ride Like a Girl (or RLAG for short) is inclusive of trans and cis women, intersex people, non-binary, genderqueer, agender, and gender variant folks, as well as those whose gender identity falls outside of the dominant conceptions of gender. Our goal is to make this an event where all of the above feel welcome to learn and work on bike skills in a supportive environment. Boys are not allowed, so you’ll have a supportive, encouraging environment to challenge yourself and learn new skills.

RLAG is hosted inside The Wheel Mill Indoor Mountain Bike and BMX park which houses 80,000 square feet of trails and features for all skill levels and styles. Your instructors are world-class (literally lots of world titles between them) and versed in both BMX and Mountain Bike Skills. We’ve closed the park down to the public just for you until 2pm, so enjoy your private session!

Each day will start off with a 1 ½ hour fundamental skills clinic to warm up and get everyone in your group working at the same level. Then there will be two more 1 ½ hour clinic sessions focusing on different skills (see Schedule below). Sign up for the course that is appropriate for your current skill level and interests (see Course Descriptions below). Students will be expected to stay with their assigned group to ensure small class sizes. Your instructor will progress you through your course material at a pace appropriate for your class and using terrain in the park that is appropriate for your skill level.

If you sign up for the same level MTB course for both days (highly recommended for Fundamentals riders), you will have a different instructor on Sunday (and receive a $10 discount!).

Stick around after class for cool-down yoga, maintenance clinics and the awards ceremony where you can pick from the many sweet prizes our sponsors have provided as a reward you for your best efforts!”
