If you’re in the Sonoma area, know that one of your own is finally home after a whirlwind of events since winning bronze at the Olympics in Tokyo. The city of Sonoma will be honoring Nikita on January 15th at City Hall, see below for the schedule.
Schedule
- Saturday January 15th 2022 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM: Nikita will be recognized during a ceremony on the Plaza in front of City Hall at 1 The Plaza, Sonoma, CA 95476
- After that, Ducarroz and coach Daniel Wedemeijer will be available to answer questions and sign autographs.
- The Plaza event wraps up at 3:00PM. Find Nikita at Picazo Kitchen and Bar at 19100 Arnold Drive to continue meets.
In honor of Olympic Bronze Medalist Nikita Ducarroz. The cruise will begin at 1:15 PM on Saturday, January 15th in Eldridge, travel through the town of Glen Ellen, head south through “The Springs” and end at City Hall in the Sonoma Plaza at approximately 2 PM where Ms. Ducarroz will be recognized by Mayor Jack Ding. The public is invited to come out at any point along the driving route to cheer on our local Olympian as she drives by!
