2022 UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland World Cup: cancellation of round in Hiroshima
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) must announce that the opening round of the 2022 UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland World Cup which should have taken place from 25 to 27 March in Hiroshima, Japan, has had to be cancelled at the request of the organisers and the Hurricane Group – the UCI’s partner for BMX Freestyle – following restrictions imposed by the country’s government. The UCI would like to thank the event’s organisers for their cooperation in this difficult situation, as well as the athletes, National Federations and all concerned parties for their understanding.”
