March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. This is something that is near and dear to us due to our good friend George Galyo AKA @Cerebral_Palsy_Bmx_Rider.
Since he raises so much awareness about Subrosa and is a huge supporter when he asked if we could help out his cause we didn’t hesitate.
We’ve teamed up with George to raise money to donate to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. CPF is an organization that defines and addresses Moments of Impact – the times at which interventions and insights if properly implemented, have the power to change lives.
CPF shares all its studies and findings with a huge network of doctors to help maximize the amount of people they can help and to also better understand the effects and change the lives of those affected. Their goal is also to prevent Cerebral Palsy.
What is Cerebral Palsy? Cerebral Palsy (CP) describes a group of permanent disorders of the development of movement and posture, causing activity limitations, attributed to nonprogressive disturbances that occurred in the developing fetal or infant brain. The motor disorders of cerebral palsy are often accompanied by disturbances of sensation, perception, cognition, communication, and behavior, epilepsy, and by secondary musculoskeletal problems.
It can cause reduced motor skills, muscle soreness, and stiffness, reduced mobility, speech issues, brain damage, and in some cases, people with CP can live in constant pain.
There are many different types of CP and they all affect each person differently.
Here’s your chance to help out the cause and land a HUGE prize pack in the process. Each $5 dollar donation gets you one entry in the drawing. No limit on entries. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

We’re calling on all BMXers to make this huge, and help out an amazing BMX rider, and get behind a cause that impacts millions of people around the world.
