We’ve been slacking on the news front lately, and we apologize for this! Stick with us while we get our stuff together. First update, the results of the women’s elite race during the USA BMX Gator Nationals for Day 1.
Some notable moments included the return of Felicia Stancil, who has been very tough while going through challenges with her thyroid. Stancil suffered a malfunction during the main, but stating that it still “felt amazing to race on a supercross track against the fastest girls in the world!” We’re glad to see her back!
Alise Post was charging the pack in the beginning, but went over the bars when hitting the triple. We’re so glad she’s ok and we’re super impressed by her tumbling skills. Post states “glad no one else was hurt and although banged up, I walked outta this one okay”.
Caroline Buchanan has been keeping very busy as of late, doesn’t appear she had any downtime since the Olympics, but she recently came off a fitness photoshoot, and taking from her Instagram she’s been keeping busy on the big bikes. Buchanan quickly diverted from the carnage and was able to take home first place. Watch the action below, stay tuned for more updates.
